The 2020 camping season opens May 15th with restrictions to comply with provincial regulations under the Emergency Measures Act. The following rules reflect the 2020 season opening operating conditions for Firefly Forest Campground. These rules are subject to constant review to keep them aligned with NB Health Guidelines and to maintain the health and safety of our clients and staff. It is our hope that more “normal” operation shall be restored in the future. These apply to seasonal as well as overnight campers.

Campground Operation

A minimum distance of 20 feet should be maintained between campsite fixtures (i.e., picnic tables, fire pits, etc.)

Restrict access to campsites with self-contained RVs that have a water supply, holding tanks and personal washroom facilities (connect to sewer system or use dump station)

All shared washroom facilities, including showers shall remain closed. Laundry facilities to open.

Playground Equipment shall be fenced off and have its use indicated as prohibited

Campers shall be responsible for placing their own garbage into a commercial dumpster.
